ABOUT US

Who we are!

Fatherhood the Foundation is a nonprofit working to end fathers absence in children's lives. Underlying many of society's most pressing challenges is a lack of father involvement in their children's lives.

Our Mission

Fatherhood the Foundation transforms fathers by equipping them to intentionally and proactively re-engage themselves in their children's lives effectively.

At Fatherhood the Foundation, our mission is to empower fathers and father figures by providing them with the necessary tools and support to intentionally and proactively re-engage in their children's lives. We recognize the crucial role that fathers play in the development and well-being of their children, and we aim to transform their understanding and approach to fatherhood.

MORE ABOUT OUR MISSION

Through a combination of resources, education, mentorship, and community outreach, we strive to equip fathers with the skills, knowledge, and emotional support they need to establish meaningful connections with their children. We believe that by actively engaging in their children's lives, fathers can positively influence their overall development, fostering stronger family units and healthier communities.

Our organization is committed to breaking down barriers that hinder father-child relationships, whether they are due to personal circumstances, societal pressures, or systemic challenges. By promoting active, responsible, and loving fatherhood, we work towards creating a future where children thrive, families are strengthened, and communities flourish. Together, we envision a society where every child has a loving and involved father or father figure, and where fathers are empowered to embrace their vital role in shaping the lives of their children for the better.

The Fatherhood The Foundation will play an historic role in the work of restoring and strengthening our brothers and fathers.

We invite you to work with us to turn the tide of faithlessness by promoting excellence in fathering. Our goal is to make excellence in fathering the norm of everyday life in the world one daddy at a time and be a fatherhood resource for the rest of the world. Fatherhood the Foundation believes that promoting excellence in fathering is the most cost-effective way to reduce the risk of harm and abusive behaviors within the broader community. Your financial and practical support is greatly appreciated. Our children deserve the best - why not give it to them? Many children and indeed adults, carry a father-wound inflicted by careless or absent fathers. Many men who are now fathers still feel the old wounds inflicted by their own father and Faults. The challenge is to break this generational cycle and create a better place for our children.

Fatherhood, the Foundation Strives to:

  • Provide education to support the return of an absent father
  • Providing mentor counseling and support for single mothers
  • Launching incentives for justice program
    • Sentence and reduction
    • Recidivism
    • Pre-post trial defense

Bridging the gap through teaching

So when you bring the father to his child they will have more compassion, education that the father may not have had have more of an understanding more empathy which will instill the father to have empathy.
Educating the child of an incarcerated father means to explain counsel support and love unconditionally keeping the bridge open to fathers DNA.

To know the DNA of the their father's is vital

We can do that through

  • Counseling
  • Unconditional Love
